ABOUT IBEW LOCAL 82
Since 1916, IBEW Local 82 members have built and maintained the facilities and electrical systems that provide power to businesses, manufacturers, hospitals, schools, and homes in the Dayton-Miami Valley Region. Our wiremen are there to bring our communities back after devastating storms. Our electricians build and operate power facilities and the grid our communities depend upon. For generations, IBEW 82 journeypeople and apprentices have mastered the electrical and network technologies of their time – and continue to lead southwestern Ohio into a clean energy future.
